ISIS Militant Converts to Christianity after Meeting Jesus in a Dream

the-black-flag-of-the-isisAn Islamic State (ISIS) militant converted to Christianity after meeting Jesus in dream, according to a Youth With A Mission (YWAM) missionary in the Middle East.

Speaking on The Voice of the Martyrs Radio Network, Gina Fadely, the former director of the organisation’s Frontier Missions, said that one of YWAM’s workers was introduced to an ISIS fighter who had killed a number of Christians. He even admitted to having enjoyed doing so, until he met Jesus in a dream.

“He [the jihadist] told this YWAM leader that he had begun having dreams of this man in white who came to him and said, ‘You are killing my people.’ And he started to feel really sick and uneasy about what he was doing,” Fadely said.

She added that the militant was given a Bible by a Christian man who was about to be killed, which he took and read. “In another dream, Jesus asked him to follow him and he was now asking to become a follower of Christ and to be discipled,” Fadely said. “So who knows, perhaps this man will be like Saul in the Bible, who persecuted Christians and then turned from that persecution of the early church to become the Apostle Paul who led it.

“God can turn it around.”

Kevin Sutter, current president of YWAM Frontier Missions, said there was a lesson to be learnt in not assuming that ISIS militants are “out of reach of God’s grace and out of reach of God’s spirit”.

He said a colleague in the Middle East told him “he has never seen spiritual hunger among Muslim people like he’s seeing now.”

“This is unprecedented, this has never happened in history,” Sutter added. “He said there are gospel programmes going out in Arabic throughout the region, radio and TV and there is a huge response.

“Many people are now following Jesus but they keep it quiet. They haven’t gone public about it. They even have church in their own home, they’re watching, they’ll serve Communion to one another as they’re watching TV.”

ISIS are now in control of huge swathes of Iraq and Syria, where they are trying to establish a Caliphate. This week, the Archbishop of Aleppo called for intervention from Western forces to stop the “monstrosities” being perpetrated by the jihadists.

“ISIS, which has already killed thousands in the region, is terrifying the faithful in Aleppo,” he wrote in a message to Aid to the Church in Need.

“After [attacks on] Maloula, Mosul, Idleb and Palmyra, what is the West waiting for before it intervenes? What are the great nations waiting for before they put a halt to these monstrosities?”

Nun: ‘Islam Is ISIS. Whoever Says Otherwise Is a Liar’

WASHINGTON — The Islamic terror group ISIS is leaving a trail of destruction across large parts of Syria and Iraq with a specific target in their crosshairs.

Hundreds of thousands of Christians have been displaced from their homes and countless others have been murdered or enslaved by the jihadist army, with no end in sight.

Sister Hatune Dogan has been on the ground and witnessed the devastation of these ancient Christian communities. She’s listened to survivors tell how Christians and Yazidi women are being sold into sex slavery.

“They choose the most beautiful one, even if they have a small child, and they sell these women, these ladies to each other. They don’t sell to another religion — only Sunni Muslim,” Dogan said.

nun isis“There have been 12,000 kidnapped at the hands of ISIS – Yazidi alone. What is going on there, what I was hearing, is the highest barbarism on earth in the history until today,” she added.

Her foundation helps the poor and persecuted in 35 countries, providing them with food, clothing, medicine and shelter.

She travels constantly with a special focus in the Muslim world.

“I’m not coming here for a holiday. I’m coming here to bring a voice to the voiceless so that the world can hear their voice. They don’t have a voice. I am the channel for them. That is my mission,” Dogan declared.

Sister Dogan is no stranger to Islamic persecution. As a young girl, threats from local Muslims forced her family to leave their home in Turkey.

They relocated to Germany, where she operates her foundation and sounds the alarm about the gathering Islamic storm.

“The mission of (Abu Bakr) Baghdadi, of ISIS, is to convert the world completely to the Islamic religion and bring them to Dar Al Salaam, as they call it. And Islam is not peace, please. Whoever says ISIS has no connection to Islam or something like this is, he’s a liar. ISIS is Islam; Islam is ISIS,” Dogan explained.

She’s disappointed by what she calls a weak reaction from the West.

“We know that in Islam, there is no democracy. Islam and democracy are opposite, like black and white. And I hope America will understand. America today has the power that they can stop this disaster on the earth, with other Western countries,” she argued.

As for Sister Dogan, she says she’ll keep calling attention to the plight of followers of Jesus around the world whether the West wants to hear it or not.

ISIS Executes Ethiopian Christians in Libya

The Islamic State released a new video Sunday that appears to show the coordinated executions of dozens of Ethiopian Christians in Libya.

The video depicts ISIS gunmen shooting the Christians in a desert area.  It also shows ISIS killers beheading other believers on a beach.

The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is condemning this latest atrocity by the jihadist army.

“Our fellow citizens have just been killed on a faith-based violence that is totally unacceptable. This is outrageous,” a church spokesperson said.

CBN’s Erick Stakelbeck offered his insight on this latest ISIS atrocity on The 700 Club, April 20. Click play to watch the interview.

ISIS may have chosen Ethiopian Christians in part because of Ethiopia’s attacks on neighboring Somalia. Its population is largely Muslim. So far, the Ethiopian government has not responded to the killings.

The latest video is similar to one released in February that shows the beheading of 21 Egyptian Christians on a Libyan beach.  The Egyptian government immediately responded to that with air strikes.

The new video represents the indicates growing strength of ISIS in Libya, and comes as the terrorist group continues to show strength in both Europe and the U.S.

Former German rapper Denis Cuspert is featured in a new ISIS video that threatens to activate sleeper cells in Germany, Britain and Australia.

There’s also concern in Britain about a friend of the radical Muslim Anjem Choudary taking his four children to a part of Syria controlled by ISIS.

In the U.S., authorities arrested six people on Sunday as part of a nationwide probe to locate those in this country that are recruiting for ISIS overseas.

“This radicalization piece cannot be underestimated,” Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, warned.

“The social media campaign and savviness of ISIS and the propaganda is what greatly concerns us as Homeland Security officials because they can radicalize from within the United States – sort of the enemy within the United States,” he said.

Another threat: terrorists training overseas and returning to the U.S. to launch an attack.

An Ohio man is being accused of just that after training with terrorists in Syria. The FBI says Abdirahman Sheik Mohamud was planning to kill U.S. soldiers, execution style.

Meanwhile, the latest ISIS execution video has not been verified.  But it appears to show the growing influence strength and resolve of what is clearly an international terror threat.
